My commitment to safe, ethical and respectful practice is central to how I work. This page explains the standards I am bound by and what you can do if you have a concern.

National Code of Conduct for Health Care Workers (Queensland)

As a counsellor and psychotherapist providing health services from Queensland, I comply with the National Code of Conduct for Health Care Workers (Queensland). The Code sets minimum standards of conduct for health care workers, including providing services in a safe and ethical manner, obtaining informed consent, keeping appropriate records and not misinforming clients.

Raising a concern with me

If something about our work together does not sit right with you, I would genuinely like to know. You are welcome to raise it in a session, or in writing by email to sallyanne@sallyannekeevers.com. I will take your concern seriously, respond within 30 days and work with you to resolve it.

The Office of the Health Ombudsman is the independent body that receives complaints about health services in Queensland.

Professional associations

I am a Clinical Member of the Psychotherapy and Counselling Federation of Australia (PACFA) and a Level 2 Member of the Australian Counselling Association (ACA), and a Registered Supervisor with both. I am bound by the codes of ethics of both associations. You can check my registration, or raise a concern about my professional conduct, with either association.
