A few things you might like to know

Frequently Asked Questions

How are sessions held?

All sessions are pre-booked and held online via secure video.

You’ll receive a reminder email four days before your session—this includes the link to join.

An SMS reminder will be sent 48 hours prior to your appointment.

What is your cancellation policy?

I don’t offer cancellations, but I do offer flexibility.

You’re welcome to reschedule your session once—within five business days before or after your original appointment—if a time is available.

If not, the full session fee still applies.

Do you offer short sessions?

No. I don’t offer brief discovery calls or 60-minute sessions.

Sessions start at 90 minutes.

Why?

Because real work takes time.

A longer session allows you to settle in, reflect, and go deeper—without feeling rushed.

This is intentional space, just for you—something many women rarely allow themselves.

Can I just book one session to start with?

Yes, absolutely.

Single sessions are flexible and can work well if:

  • You’re new and want to see if we’re a good fit

  • You’ve done deeper work in the past and just want a “top-up”

  • You have one specific issue you’d like support with.

Why do you offer packages?

Packages provide a committed space for deeper transformation.

When you book a package, you’re carving out time for real focus on yourself.

This consistency allows insights to settle and lasting change to unfold.

It’s not just about a one-off breakthrough—it’s about integrating change over time.

I’ve seen how powerful this can be, and I want you to experience that kind of shift.

What if I can’t find a time that suits me?

If you can’t find a time that works through the online booking calendar, please get in touch.

I keep some flexible availability off-calendar and may be able to offer something that suits you better.

What’s the best way to get started?

You can book your first session online.

Once you do, you’ll receive a confirmation email and a short onboarding form to complete before we meet.

If you’d prefer to connect first, feel free to reach out via the contact form.

Do you work with people outside Australia?

Yes.

I work with English-speaking clients worldwide.

Sessions are held online, and time zone differences can usually be worked around with flexible scheduling.

Do you offer Medicare rebates?

No. My work sits outside the Medicare model so I can offer more flexibility and depth.

Some private health insurers cover counselling—check with your provider.

If you’re linked with a program like Victims Assist or a redress scheme, your sessions may be covered.

Do I need a referral?

No. You don’t need a referral to book a session—you’re welcome to self-refer at any time.

Do you offer payment plans?

If you’d prefer to pay in instalments, I offer a payment plan option for packages. Let me know and I can send you the details.

What’s the difference between counselling, psychotherapy, coaching, psychology, and psychiatry?

Counselling

  • Short to medium term

  • Focused on specific issues, life transitions, or challenges

  • Helps with emotional support, problem-solving, and coping strategies

Psychotherapy

  • Longer-term, in-depth work

  • Explores emotional patterns, relational dynamics, and past experiences

  • Aims to support lasting inner change and self-understanding

Coaching

  • Not typically used for trauma or emotional processing

Psychology

  • Includes assessment, diagnosis, and evidence-based treatments

  • Often used in mental health, educational, and organisational settings

Psychiatry

  • A medical field specialising in the diagnosis and treatment of mental illness

  • Uses medication as a key treatment tool

  • Often combined with other forms of therapy

I work in the fields of counselling and psychotherapy, with advanced clinical training in trauma-informed methods, including Brainspotting, Internal Family Systems, TRTP, and metabolic approaches.

I’m a member of PACFA, ACA, and the ACA College of Supervisors, and I consistently exceed the required standards of ethical practice and professional development.
